Zazzle now allows customers to post reviews. I find that great because for a long time I hoped that customers would return to give me feedback on my products as we design it but we never get to see most of the products we create. I confess that in the beginning I feared that something might be wrong with my creations!! After the first purchases I was always waiting for the royalties to be returned. Fortunately it never happened...so far!
So when I read that Zazzle offered customers the possibility of making products reviews I was happy. But then I got disappointed really fast. I don't like the way Zazzle has done it and many other Zazzlers aren't satisfied either. Bellow most of my products I can read There are currently no reviews for Happy Valentine's Day Cookie Plate - or other - , but here's what others are saying about the product:"
So people come to my store and get reviews on many products similar to mine, but not mine. Meanwhile, if there are some nice comments made to my products, they are showing bellow the reviews. No customer will scroll down to read that. Some product reviews Zazzle added to our pages might even be negative! If that review was from my product I had to live with it, it was my responsibility, unless it was Zazzle's, of course!! And I think problems with printing, the product quality, the shipping, sizes, issues that have nothing to do with my designs, should appear on Zazzle's page, not there. Just imagine that you are a customer shopping at Zazzle for the first time and find that negative review...I think this might affect our sales, don't you? On other internet sites I know the reviews are always about the exact product the customer is watching, not others. These 3 ou 4 reviews bellow my product might be also confusing or distracting for Zazzle customers. They can turn away from the original focus of attention easily...my opinion.
I leave you with the link you can use to check if you have any reviews on your Zazzle products! I have just one and it's good, yeah!!!
