Because it's Friday!

It's Friday - I sweated all week - I want to have fun - In my pocket I do not bring a penny - Someone get me a job - A good good good good one - Now now now now
Here's a funny video and a song from Boss Ac latest CD that's called AC para os amigos = Ac for the friends. Sexta-feira (Emprego Bom Já) = Friday (A good job now) is a song about our present social condition. Many portuguese people can't find a job. Those that studied at universities for four or five years are among the ones who have greater difficulties. Many of those qualified youngsters who are lucky to find a job are poorly paid. So they stay in their parents house. Banks don't borrow money to young people  unless they show that possess the means to redeem the debt. Our Government has advised young people to search for opportunities abroad and these words were bitterly  received and caused a lot of discussion about Portugal's capacity to recover it's economy in the next couple of years. Some people also expect that a job comes easily and don't search enough. They want things to happen fast. There's kind of a sarcasm in  this song too. Boss AC was invited  to sing with Akon some years ago - I wanna love you, was the name of the song they recorded together.
